About the Activity Breaking the Cycle of Child Labor and Poverty in India Child labor is one of the gravest issues in India, depriving millions of children of their basic right to education. Without intervention, these children remain trapped in a cycle of poverty, vulnerability to HIV/AIDS, trafficking, prostitution, and slavery. “New Life ”: Empowering Vulnerable Children Our mission focuses on empowering children from the most disadvantaged communities, with special attention to: • Orphaned children • Girls who have lost their parent(s) • Children from caste-discriminated and impoverished communities • Those affected by HIV/AIDS Children without parental care or guardianship are especially vulnerable to abuse and exploitation. “New Life Power Gospel Fellowship” exists to release these children from spiritual, economic, social, and physical poverty, enabling them to grow into responsible, fulfilled Christians.
